Starting the implementation of a program for training female university graduates on good agricultural and production consultations and practices for medicinal and aromatic plants or dates

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the start of the implementation of the training program for female university graduates on agricultural consultations and good production practices for medicinal and aromatic plants or dates, within the framework of the agricultural consulting training project funded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization "UNIDO". The university president explained that the project aims to train female university graduates on consulting in good agricultural and productive practices in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants in order to achieve increased economic participation of women in the private sector in Egypt, and to harness their full potential as entrepreneurs and employees, which reflects positively on the development of the economy. in this promising field within the framework of the Egyptian state's vision 2030. Dr. Mumtaz Hijab, Dean of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Institute and project manager, indicated that personal interviews were conducted for more than 300 female applicants for the international training programme.
The institute seeks to prepare them in a distinct way in the field of agricultural consultancy to achieve the project's objectives.
